Senior Site Reliability Engineer - OpenShift / Platform Engineering

Assignment

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a long-term assignment with a large enterprise customer in Stockholm.

The assignment involves supporting the migration of a business-critical platform to an on-premise OpenShift environment while establishing modern Site Reliability Engineering practices. You will play a key role in improving platform reliability, automation, observability and operational excellence.

This is a hands-on senior role where you are expected to combine technical leadership with operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive reliability improvements using SLOs, SLIs and Error Budgets

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Operate and optimize OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms

• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management

• Improve monitoring, logging and observability

• Automate deployments and operational processes

• Support performance tuning, capacity planning and platform optimization

• Contribute to security, compliance and platform governance

• Coach development and operations teams in SRE best practices

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience within Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and Docker

• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is preferred)

• Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (Ansible preferred)

• Experience with GitOps

• Experience with observability platforms such as Splunk and Dynatrace

• Strong automation mindset and scripting skills

• Experience supporting Java applications and Oracle databases in production environments

• Solid understanding of SRE principles including incident management, SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets
